Samsung Omnia 7 in India now with Windows Phone 7 series OS
One of the initial devices during the launch of Windows Phone 7, the Samsung Omnia 7runs on the WP7 OS and is equipped with superb hardware capabilities.
Considered the slimmest phone in the Windows Phone 7 series, this handset comes with 122 x 64 x 11 mm dimensions and weighs 139 g.
It is equipped with an S-AMOLED screen, 4”screen, 4 point multi-touch system, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, 1 GB ROM, 3G, Wi-Fi, and long battery backup.
The Gorilla Glass used in the handset gives the screen a large and cool look. Devices such as music, videos, games and apps offer solid performance. During heavy usage its battery lasts for 1.5 days while on moderate usage the battery lasts for 2 days.
The handset has a definite chassis definition. The front portion of the screen has three buttons—Back, Search and Windows. The middle button is an actual hard button whereas the first and the last buttons are capacitive touch buttons.
The side also contains some buttons like that of power button, camera button and standard volume buttons.
The handset is also preloaded with 3.5mm audio jack, micro-USB sync cable/charger, and5MP camera. It comes with a plethora of customization options like that of a Samsung Zone area.
